How to fix your crashed laptop hard drive?

okay my laptop crashed while i was on it. it doesn't start up when its supposed to. it goes to this system recovery thing. i already restored it several times. i don't want to get a new hard drive or swipe mine. there are precious things on my laptop that i only have on my laptop. like home videos from my family and friends that i barely get to see and i took videos of them when they or me visited. i can not lose them. please i don't want to have to get my laptop swiped or get a new one. is there a solution that i can fix my hard drive without erasing my memory?
