How to I get rid of the blue screen always popping up and shutting my computer down?

I tried system restore and i also tried safe mode. I assume I have some sort of virus? This is difficult to fix considering I forgot my password to log into my computer with. It tells me I need to know my original password in order to change it, does anyone know how to do this? The reason I forgot in the first place is because I have one of those finger swipe things to log in and eventually I couldn't remember and now its requiring me to type the password for some things. Help please and thanks!
