I have a stye in my eye and my whole eye changed color...?

I had a stye in my eye for two days now. It hurts like HELL , its always tearing up, and it stings. When I turn on a light, my whole eye feels like it was smacked. But when I woke up this morning, my eye changed its color to GREEN.. Im brown eyed, and now my eye with the stye is a light green. Why did this happen?
