Why dont people want me to spend money on a mac?

Everyone tells me that a mac is way to expensive. Well what other laptop do you know of that has facetime, soon to come swipe gestures, Icloud coming out, the quality and style, and the ability to wirelessly sync all of your apple products wirelessly such as mucis,documents,photos ect. Plus the applications are insane........ Am I the only one that thinks this?
