Is this bone really broken?

3 days ago I was at basketball practice and I twisted my ankle on a crossover. Next day I went to the hospital, they bandaged me and told me to come next day for a radiography so I came next day. My doctor asked me if I feel any sting when I step cause if I do that means I have a broken bone but I don't feel any sting when step.
