What Excuse to Use for a Hit and Run in Court Only Scratches to Car No Injuries?

I have to go to court and I am terrified. It was 3:00am and I was driving home (dark out) Aaliyah's One in a Million came on the radio and I turned it up as loud as it could go. i side swiped a parked car and kept going uknowingly....I need a better excuse than this!
