Car Swiped Don't Want to Go Through Insurance?

Alright so the other day i was driving when a lady randomly side swiped my car in the back which made my cars front slam into hers...after the cops arrive she admitted what happend so I went to get a estimate for my car and i was told the damage is around 700 dollars...well I have a 500 dollar deductible which basically means that I got totally screwed cus I have to pay all that money is there another way around this other then going through my insurance company because I can't afford to pay 500 dollars for some bs that lady did can i force her to pay me directly for she can pay for the damages or would I have to take her to court or what?
